Sculptural Teapots - Join ceramic artist Julie Elkins for a weekend workshop that will take your sculptural teapot-making skills to the next level! In this hands-on class, you'll learn the techniques and tools needed to create stunning teapots that are both functional and beautiful. Julie will guide you through the process of designing and building your own unique teapot, from shaping the body to adding intricate details and handles. You'll also learn about glazing and firing techniques to bring your teapot to life. This class is perfect for both beginners and experienced ceramic artists looking to expand their skills. Molly will guide participants through her carving process, from choosing an appropriate clay body, design considerations, carving techniques and airbrushed underglaze application. There will be a hands-on component where participants use the techniques they learned to create their own texture rollers.
