Clay College

February 17

Brambleton Center
3738 Brambleton Ave.
Roanoke, VA 24018

Special Guest Guy Zoller (sculptor extraordinaire) will conduct a Hands on Sculpture workshop 'in the small'. That is, a soft ball sized figurative sculpture in a 2 hour workshop. Everything needed supplied by 'The Guild'. There will be extra time provided if needed. If you have sculpture tools, please bring them.

Mike The Kiln Doctor will have the Clay Store with tools and supplies, as well as a kiln/firing clinic to aid those with a kiln at home or those who are planning such.

Lyn Jordan will have a brush making clinic. That's right, make you own glaze brush with materials from local suppliers, and make it just the way you want it.

Ever go through the the Jury Process..., applying for a show can be daunting, photos, bio, details, details details. Yikes! Seth G. will guide you through the process and give you the confidence to move your sales to the next level..

Becky Carr will present a Photo Workshop. You have to present your art in the best possible light and Becky is a pro. This is not just about taking a picture.

Andrea Denniston will teach a workshop on Mishima, Carving and Inlay on clay. Add your dreams to your pots.

We will have some wheel throwing and design / alterations on the wheel as well.

All this for free, that's right, free to Guild members. $5.00 to non-members.  Pay at the door.
