Coming to Roanoke? For local art, head to Downtown Roanoke, where you'll find numerous art galleries on the Historic Roanoke City Market (http://www.downtownroanoke.org/city-market). You'll find local produce at Virginia's oldest continually operating farmer's market, as well as restaurants
food, wine, coffee and more. Make sure you visit the Taubman Museum of Art (http://www.taubmanmuseum.org/main/). The Taubman features contemporary art, as well as works from the museum's collections. Roanoke is one of the two large cities located along the Blue Ridge Parkway
